An Award from Lesley

Lesley over at Nutkin Tailz has sent me an award! Thanks so much, Lesley. She is one of the designers at the Cottage....and a truly wonderful designer she is, too! You need to run right over there and take a look at her kits! Her Imbolc Inspriation is one of my favorites and I have used it for layouts as well as a number of cards lately. She has also done Herbal Grimore and Sunburnt Country, which is a tribute to her native Australia. Her newest release is Remembrance of Times Past...a huge kit of heritage themed items. I can see myself using this a great deal.

Beginning on September 1st, we will be running a challenge in honor of the release of her Remembrance kit. Stop by and get the particulars....there's always a great posting bonus for taking part in our challenges. While you are there, sign up for the newsletter and then you can keep track of kits, challenges and general chatter. It is a nice place to hang out and play.

But back to the award....I am supposed to name seven blogs to pass this along to. So here are my seven:

Coppercurls
Ivory Keys' Digital Dreams
Jacie's Stuff
2009 Photo Challenge
Scrappanic

And two more to be named later on. I ordinarily don't do this kind of thing, but it is a good chance to touch base with my favorite bloggers that I haven't looked at in a few days....

Working....

On several new kits....and I confess here and now....I don't know how some of you designers out there do it all! What I mean is...work on kits, post to blogs, Facebook, do kits, keep track of CT's, shops, forums, web sites, and all that. I think I'm losing what is left of my mind. I also have a load of wash in the washer and a pot full of what is going to be pulled pork cookin' on the stove....HELP!

Blog Train Follow-up

Our blog train was a huge success, thanks to everyone who stopped by and downloaded....and especially those who left comments. Thank you all for leaving some love. We are planning another one for around Halloween time, so I'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, I'm working on ghosties, goblins and things that go bump in the night. Who'd a thunk that I'd be doing Halloween in the middle of August? I would imagine that I'll feel the same way when I start on Christmas things next month. I'm beginning to understand my local Wal Mart a bit better though....egads! What a thought! What I mean is putting up Christmas stuff in October....it's all about marketing, I guess.

Another surprise (to me) was that having a link to a blog train has paid off in some unexpected ways for my little blog. DigiFree has discovered my blog, as has Creative Busy Hands...both search and post blogs with scrap book freebies. It was kinda fun to see my blog on another web site!

I'm so stoked about all this that I decided to put up another kit....this one is one of my personal favs. I call it Summer Skies. Personal use only, please.
